As a Brazilian Translator and Interpreter, I work with clients in the UK, the US and throughout the Portuguese-speaking countries – but not restricted to those.
Since 1999, I have been working as a linguist and communication expert, with a specialisation in Portuguese and English. Prior to that, I worked in advertising, brand management and publishing for a number of major international and Brazilian companies.
I continue to maintain an active programme of professional development and hold a wide-range of professional qualifications. I have developed a strong reputation with clients for my reliability and consistently high standards.

LECTURING, ASSESSMENT AND TUITION Show ▼
Education is one of my passions and alongside my career as a linguist I have worked with a number of reputable institutions, as a lecturer, examiner, assessor, marker and interlocutor.
Since 2000, I have taught Portuguese for business, travel and general purposes and have worked for a range of educational institutions, including City Lit, Morley College and Southwark College, and for high-profile law firms and financial companies in the UK.
I have also given talks about Brazilian Culture (cinema and literature) for the Foreign Office Language Centre and City Lit, both based in London, UK.
In addition, I have acted as an assessor and an examiner, creating and marking oral and written exams for the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting and the Metropolitan Police Test provided by the Language Services Ltd. (an arm of the Chartered Institute of Linguists).
I have also lectured on ‘Translation and Interpreting Skills’ as a visiting lecturer for Middlesex University, UK, and marked exams for the MA Applied Translation at London Metropolitan University.
